Bio

Jocasta is a product of the soul, reggae and drum n bass melting pot that describes the music of Bristol. When you also take into account that both of her parents are professional musicians with a jazz flavour, you are starting to get close to her unique talent and sound.

Her songwriting is equally outstanding and the first single, ‘Girls Are Evil’ is scheduled for release on October 1st to be closely followed by a 5 track EP in time for Xmas. All of the tracks have been written by Jocasta and recorded with her band over the last year. She combines classic hooks with strong melodies and deep deep lyrics that belie that fact that she has only just ceased being a teenager.

The ‘Girls Are Evil’ video was filmed in June with director Alex Richardson in and around Bristol. The video and pre release copies of the single be available in September.
